Further Information

Selling my versatile Auralic Altair G1 (Streamer/Dac/Pre amp)

Bought this from Audio Solutions Sydney.

Currently using it for headphone listening using its user friendly and reliable DS Lightning app.

Also have used this effectively using as Roon End Point.

One can also play directly from Tidal Connect, Spotify Connect and Quboz app.  Airplay and bluetooth.

Connect to LAN through ethernet or its robust WIFI.

A versatile standalone dac as well if you want to connect with your standalone streamer or TV/ CD through its digital input.  Digital inputs are : 1x USB-B port; 1x coaxial; 1x optical; 1x AES

Have connected to my music library from an external USB drive and/or Network attach storage using SMB protocol at the same time.

Have the option to  manage the initial setup through a web based windows PC application.  Android is not supported by Auralic.

The parametric equalizer allows you to fine-tune the sound of your streamer and to compensate for acoustic imperfections in the listening environment. Effects available with Lightning Streaming devices include Peak/Dip, High Pass, Low Pass, Band Pass and Band Stop. The number of bands that can be added to the equalizer is determined by the device type. Products with the Tesla G2 platform support up to 16 bands simultaneously.

Supports smart IR Remote.

Built in headphone amp. The Altair G1 reveals the same compelling balance via the headphone output as it does the rear panel connections.

It is easily the equal of many standalone models and is another decidedly useful element built in.

It can also play CD if you attach an external USB CD drive. In addition it can do cd ripping.  I haven't tried this feature though but here is the link on how to do cd playing and ripping.  https://us.auralic.com/pages/how-to-use-cd-playback-and-ripping

One can also attach an internal hard drive but you will need to purchase a separate Altair HDD installation kit from any Auralic dealer which could costs around $195.  I only have used an external USB drive and NAS for storing my music library.

Shipping: It comes with its original box  so can shipped at buyer's agreed cost. Also included is its user manual.

If your music library is stored in a NAS, I can guide you how to set up your  music library using SMB network protocol.

Some great review of the Altair G1.
