Kevin has taken incredible care of them and they honestly look brand new. 

I've heard them myself. These are legendary speakers and incredibly high performers to boot, not to mention ultra rare to find in Australia.

The K2 S9500 is an exceptional system from JBL and undoubtedly one of my favorites. They use the 1400ND bass driver and the 475 compression driver, both of which were specifically designed for this system, incorporating the best technology JBL had to offer at the time.

The 1400ND driver builds on the legendary LE14, which I consider one of JBL's finest. It was re-designed with a new cast basket and a neodymium motor, an innovation that was likely a world first.

While some online comments suggest the S9500 is light on bass, I haven’t found that to be the case. Mine are currently set up in a 72-square-meter room, powered by 50-watt valve monoblocks. The bass is gloriously detailed and full, with no sense of lacking. And when it comes to mids and highs, the JBL 475 4" compression driver delivers unparalleled detail, dynamics, and realism. These speakers don’t sound like horn designs, they simply disappear into the room.

Recently, a few people have had the chance to hear my S9500s. One listener texted me the next day, saying they had tears rolling down their face and had never experienced anything like it. Another, who was firmly in the "non-JBL" camp, ended up purchasing a pair of modern JBL studio monitors within a week of hearing my system for the second time
