Rare opportunity to acquire a truly superb (possibly unsurpassed) preamp at significant savings.

First owner, purchased directly from LTA as a result of being blown away with its smaller predecessor, the mid-sized Microzotl MZ2 (preamp/integrated amp/ headphone amp) which to my astonishment outclassed in my (same) system an array of some highly esteemed preamps (incl. Prima Luna Evo 400, Consonance Linear 1, Audio Research Ref 1 & Ref 3).

This full-sized unit (being a preamp/headphone amp only) discernibly renders even higher level of refinement.

As a result of seemingly never-ending evolution of my audio gear, this preamp has been sitting literally untouched for the last 3 years or so, i.e., the time it took me to finally came to terms with letting it go. The prevailing reasons for me is that having now settled on a fully balanced component configuration and having outlaid some ridiculous $$$$ on AudioQuest Dragon XLRs, is the absence of XLR outputs.

The preamp is in excellent condition. There is a slight patch of 'haze' on the front of the volume dial, only noticeable from close proximity under a certain light. Otherwise, the unit is as new and operates flawlessly.

(For the perfectionists among us – I have now been advised by LTA that a replacement volume knob is available at an approx. cost of $100 AUD incl. shipping)

Comes complete with remote, printed manual and the original box.

Much prefer a local pick up although, as indicated, not ruling out shipping if appropriately insured at purchaser’s expense.
