Willsenton R8 with KT88 tubes. Full Skunkie upgrade

I have owned this amplifier from new.

It is in as new condition (well, rather better than new in fact) and has undergone a thorough upgrade as per Skunkie Designs.

This has been checked by a qualified electrical technician.

The upgrades include

Complete ground wire redo

Nearly all resistors upgraded to Vishay and similar brands

Most capacitors upgraded to Nichicon or Wurth

The coupling caps are Mundorf as are several others - see photographs

The transformer wiring has been redone

The choke has been upgraded to a Hammond 2H 194G

It comes with four PSVANE KT88 output tubes and I have upgraded the driver tubes to Russian equivalents

It will run EL34 tubes with a simple switch and re-biassing.

It comes with the quality remote control and cage and I have the original packaging

The amplifier can be auditioned and picked up in Canberra.
