Troubador 6L6 Ultralinear Integrated Valve Amplifier.

Bought new from Earle Weston in June 2011.

One of the best Hi-Fi purchases I’ve ever made.

Rated at 20 Class A watts per channel into 8 Ohms.

I have used it mainly with Klipschorns and Zu speakers and it is a lovely sounding amp. The Zu are rated at 16 Ohms and the amp drives them effortlessly.

Comes with NOS Jan 12AT7 signal valves and Tungsol 6L6GC output valves which are the blue valves shown in the photos.

I couldn’t resist them at the time so asked Earle to include them and they still look wonderful when rolled through the amp. These increase the output to 30WPC.

Also available for $100 extra are 4 Valve Art KT66 valves shown in 2 of the photos.

A set of 4 matched NOS GE6L6GC are also available for $150 extra.

The 3 sets of valves mentioned have all been rolled through the amp in the last month to check that they all viable.

It is in excellent condition and has been lightly used as I have quite a few amps that I roll through my system. Probably less than 300 hours on each set of valves.

I’m only selling it as I have another one of Earle’s amps on the way and have promised “she who must be obeyed” that I will start to downsize my collection.

So, to be clear, it will come with the Tungsol blue light valves as standard for $1000.

The Valve Art and GE valves are extras as indicated.

Pick up is OK if you’re near to Engadine and I’m happy to send in the original box with the original manual.

I’d recommend TNT/Fedex as you’ll probably have it within 24-36 hours if my experience with them is any indication.
