This Ayon streamer DAC and preamp combo with Tube output stage is very unique on the digital hi fi market. The minimal signal path concept and a two tubes marries digital and analogue worlds perfectly.
No matter what source you use: Tidal, Qobuz, Roon and even Spotify result is consistent dense and resolving sound with a hint of warmth coming from high quality tubes present in analog output stage.

I have this unit for a year or so, but it only has 450 hours on the clock, so plenty of tube life and there is only two tubes anyway.
