MBD's Summer Garage Sale.
Time for the post-xmas cleanup of things I've been meaning to sell for a while. I'm not after top dollar, and believe this (and my other listings) are reasonably priced. If you feel like you can demonstrate why I'm incorrect, I welcome your offers or feedback. Please see my other listings. I may be open to trades, but my main purpose is to clear things out.
This item is a partially functional VAF Octavio 1i iPod speaker with a bluetooth module. It's been unused for years, and when I tried to test it today, it wasn't functioning as I'd expect, so am selling it as non-functioning/parts. Might be good for someone who can repair such things or as part of a DIY project.

It's been owned since new.

What doesn't work:
The top volume/input select knob button doesn't appear to be working, though it does light up.
I tried using the IR Remote to see if that would let me change volume/inputs, but it didn't seem to have any effect

What does work:
The drivers are in good condition (can supply short video of it operating via bluetooth adapter if need be)
The power supply
The bluetooth dongle

It includes three plastic iPod adapters, two of the three socks it came with (grey and black), instructions, IR remote, and bluetooth dongle.

I've not opened up the unit to try and repair it, but once again, please purchase with no expectation of any of it working, including what appeared to be functioning at time of sale.

We have just put the new Amber Haze finish of these wonderful smart speakers on our showroom floor, so this Cobalt Blue finish must find a new and loving home.
Speakers present in excellent condition except for a "tiny" little white mark on the front left of the main speaker (pictured). Speakers are functioning perfectly and have been factory reset.

A ONE YEAR warranty is being offered with these.

We have decided to put a pair of the new Moss Green finish speakers on our showroom floor, hence the reason for the sale of this Black pair. They are in excellent condition, with only a subtle black mark on the top front of the master speaker (see images), but can only be seen under the right light. These work perfectly as expected and come with full packaging.

These will come with a 12 month warranty.

I bought this about 12 months ago for my office.

It’s hard very limited and conservative use (never pushed).

Presents in mint condition and I still have the original packaging which will make it easy to post.

This speaker sound excellent and is a no compromise speaker that is roon ready.

Swedish company Audio Pro has been making audiophile equipment, mainly loudspeakers, since 1978, and the Living LV2e is one in their line of remote-controlled, “wireless” powered loudspeaker systems (scare quotes explained below). The desktop speakers, with remote control and USB dongle, retail for $1000 USD per pair. Each speaker measures 8.2”H x 5.7”W x 7”D, and has a 1” soft-dome tweeter and a 4.5” aluminum woofer. Bass-reflex in design, each speaker has a front port, and has a standard electrical cord and plug to power its two 25W class-D amplifiers.

The LV2e’s come clad in stitched leather in black, red, or white, and are lovely to the touch. The lightly magnetized grilles press gently but securely into the cabinet’s frame, and are easily removable. I thought the little tag on each grille (you can tuck it in) made the speakers look chintzier than they are, and the sound was slightly but noticeably less bright with the grilles in place, so I left them off. Behind the grille is a red LED volume meter with a range of 0 to 31.

Around back, no binding posts — just the electrical socket, a power switch, and two buttons: one for programming a house code and one for the zone. Today’s wireless speaker systems are sophisticated creations, freed from the interference and limited range of past wireless designs. Audio Pro focuses on computer-based audio, and the operation and setup of the transmitter, remote control, and the speakers themselves couldn’t be easier or more intuitive.

The speakers are certainly compact. They seemed a bit small for my 28” Target stands, but could be a bit large for a desktop, if your goal is anything other than listening in the extreme nearfield. This could be my bias, however; as the main system in my room, the LV2e’s were consistently able to play music with enough volume and authority.

Up for sale is the wonderful KEF LSX II LT speakers, WITH P1 desktop stands. These are SAGE GREEN in colour. These have been on our showroom floor and have had limited use and present in excellent condition (see pics).
These are 11 months old, so will come with a 13 month warranty.

A recent cupboard clean out turned up this lovely Samsung desktop AIO unit from around 2012.      I hauled it out and gave it a quick test - all seems well. 🙂
Beautifully made AIO, featuring real dark Cherry lacquered veneer, and a tube-based pre-amp section.   Can't find a blemish on it - in near new condition.
Has 5 speakers, including a sub in the base.    The whole unit has a solid and lovely laid-back, vintage feeling.  Sounds great as well.

Excellent active bluetooth speakers. Four EQ presets, digital and analog inputs.
 
NB. The left slave speaker was knocked over by our dopey cat, unbelievable considering the speaker weight. Some damage to the cabinet and grille as shown, but both speakers are fully functional.
 
Original remote and DIN cable connecting both speakers is included.

Devialet Phantom Classic - $1200 OBO
It is in terrific working condition.  Its been well taken care of.

The Xeo 2s can play anything you stream to them wirelessly via Bluetooth – from any compatible device. They also have on-board physical inputs: digital optical (which can handle 24-bit/192kHz hi-res files), analogue RCA stereo, and analogue 3.5mm minijack.
 
Control them from the supplied remote control, or using the touch-sensitive buttons on top of the cabinet.
 
Hook them up them to a Dynaudio Connect box (see my other listing for the Dynaudio Connect) via the USB and digital coaxial connections and add wireless hi-res streaming up to 24-bit/96kHz, iOS control, multiroom and DLNA support.

Devialet Phantom 1  105 Pair, with Branch (Tall) Stands

This pair were my much loved main speakers, recently replaced with something considerably more expensive. Absolutely mind-bending volume and tight bass, they are a lot of fun to rock out with and yet quite delicate, reproducing acoustic instruments accurately.
 
They are connectible via bluetooth, wireless, optical S/PDIF or LAN. The LAN connection is the most stable.
 
One speaker has a dent as you can see from the photos. The dent makes absolutely no difference to the sound, and it can be fixed by sending the speaker to Devialet if you wish. The dent has been allowed for in the price. I never bothered fixing it as I could hear no difference. The speakers are sold as is.
 
I have all the original packing for both the speakers and the stands.
 
The speakers weigh 14KG each and the stands 7KG each.
 
Please calculate shipping with your preferred shipper, if sent as 3 separate 14KG boxes they can go via Australia Post for AROUND $300. It is difficult to estimate postage until the speakers are packed up and presented to Auspost and the destination is selected.

Up for sale is my pair of KEF LSX II LT wireless bookshelf speakers with optional P1 Desk Pads which help sound a lot as well as making the speakers look a lot better!

The Xeo 2s can play anything you stream to them wirelessly via Bluetooth – from any compatible device. They also have on-board physical inputs: digital optical (which can handle 24-bit/192kHz hi-res files), analogue RCA stereo, and analogue 3.5mm minijack.
 
Control them from the supplied remote control, or using the touch-sensitive buttons on top of the cabinet.
 
Hook them up them to a Dynaudio Connect box (see my other listing for the Dynaudio Connect) via the USB and digital coaxial connections and add wireless hi-res streaming up to 24-bit/96kHz, iOS control, multiroom and DLNA support.
 
Mount them on stands; keep them on a shelf; put them in a corner; seat them on the optional wall-brackets for a seamless look. Just tell the Xeo 2s where they are via a rear switch, and they’ll optimise their sound for that position (and for the volume they’re playing at).
 
The Xeo 2’s 28mm tweeter and 14cm mid/bass driver sit in a solid aluminium baffle and ultra-stable composite housing. It’s all designed to minimise unwanted interference – giving the twin 65W amplifiers everything they need to do their work.
