Japanese SUT.
For sale is an Entre ET-200 step up transformer. This is a true high end SUT designed for MC cartridges with an internal impedance of 10 ohms or less, ideally around 3.5 ohms. It has a gain of 30db. The Entre ET-200 was designed by Yoshio Matsudaira, who went on to found My Sonic Lab. It is in good condition, with some marks on the top front edge, but she sounds excellent.
Cartridge Designer Yoshio Matsudaira founded Entre in the late 1970's then went on to design very high end cartridges and MC transformers for Air Tight, Lyra, Koetsu, Miyabi before founding My Sonic Lab. This transformer dates from the late 1970's, early 1980s but looks like it was made this year.

Near new condition, comes with original box.
Reason for selling: Recently. I have acquired a turntable package with a matching Phasemation phono + T-550 STP, hence the T-320 becomes surplus to my need.
Pickup from Gordon NSW 2073. I still have the original box, so I can post it anywhere (postage will be extra).

Denon AU 320 step up transformer in very good condition. I would love to keep this but due to a recent lounge room restyle I need to reduce my box count and this is the most expendable. It has worked very well for me in my system with a Denon turntable and Denon DL 103 cartridge - I like the sound through this better than through my Moon phono stage which is saying something IMO. Has the original box if that's something you're interested in but doesn't have any of the internal packing so not looking to post at this stage.
Pickup available in Preston or I can generally deliver anywhere in the Melbourne Metro area as I'm on the road every day for work.

This is a really great quality and flexible SUT - works well, sounds great and is noise free. A few scratches on the case, but works perfectly.
I believe the specs are:
(3 Ω) - 28 dB, 20:1
(20 Ω) - 20 dB 8:1
40 (Ω) - 17 db 5.6:1
0dB(Pass)
You can read a vintage test of this SUT here.
Happy to post at cost.

Four selectable gain/winding ratios: 1:10, 1:13, 1:20, and 1:40 — so you can match your cartridge output and load impedance to your phono stage / MM input for optimal performance.
Impressive build quality: premium Cinemag core, solid wiring, switchable taps operate cleanly with no noise or microphonic issues.
Fully passive design — no power supply needed, which means quieter operation and fewer distortion surprises.
Transparent and dynamic sound. Loads of glowing reviews on the net.

Very cute Sony HA-T10 Step up Transformers (SUT) for MC cartridges. These are very handy devices for one's audiophile toolkit - 1:20 ratio plug in transformers suitable for a range of MC cartridges, and a wonder of micro engineering by Sony. More details here on these. They sound fantastic too - they don't compete with my regular sized SUTs, but wow, they come surprisingly close.
These are a little used with scratches etc, and three of the little screws on the outside seem to have fallen out. But this does not affect the sound - they work perfectly.
I am only parting with them as I really don't use them!
