Vogel’s Releases Universal Soundbar Mount

TV owners looking for an elegant mounting solution for their soundbar now have the ideal solution, and it's super affordable, thanks to Vogel's from the Netherlands.

Vogel's new Sound 3550 is a universal soundbar mount and the latest products from the 47-year market leader in TV mounting systems.  The versatile mount attaches to almost any existing TV swivel wall mount and is also compatible with the Sonos Arc soundbar.

Attaching to the swivel TV mount, the Vogel's solution ensures the soundbar always faces the same way as the TV allowing the viewer to enjoy the best listening experience. Buyers will love the visual simplicity of a soundbar perfectly aligned to the TV above, with adjustable height for a minimum gap, and a simple clip system at rear to keep cables hidden.

Vogel's says its “smart design of the Sound 3550 soundbar mount ensures wide compatibility with the market's latest models as well as been easily customisable for multiple soundbar shapes and sizes.”

The Sound 3550 fits any TV wall mount where the mounting hole pattern on the back of the TV is between 100mm - 600mm apart, as the vertical rails are adjustable to fit this range of hole patterns. It's suitable for soundbars up to 6.5kg which covers nearly all models on the market.

The Sound 3550 is available now in a black finish and comes complete with all necessary mounting hardware for $129 RRP.

    applause awards

Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.

Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.

The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.

We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
