Meitner Releases Next Generation MA3 Integrated DAC

Meitner Audio has released the next generation of its award-winning DACs, and the follow up to its highly-regarded DA2 V2.

The newly released MA3 Integrated D/A Converter combines Ed Meitner's proven world-class sound techniques from the DA2 V2 and DV2 converters while incorporating network audio streaming functions from the Canadian brand's NS1 Streamer. Combined, the MA3 delivers one sleek, affordable package to serve your greater enjoyment of music.

The MA3 employs Meitner's MDAC2 fully discrete single-bit, 16xDSD, D-to-A converters, coupled with the MDAT2 DSP, which performs real-time transient detection as well as up-conversion of all incoming audio.

With support for up to 24bit/192kHz & DSD resolution over all inputs, USB Audio, AES, TOSLINK, COAX and RJ45 network, it will also handle 2xDSD (via DoP) and DXD (352/384kHz) over USB Audio. The MA3 also offers full MQA unfolding via USB and Network inputs. Roon fans are catered for with Roon Ready and Roon Endpoint functionality.

Meitner says the MA3 also caters for Tidal, Qobuz, Spotify, Deezer, vTuner, plus many more streaming audio services - subject to regional availability. Meitner Audio also offers its mConnect app for network control on Android, IOS and tablets.

Designed and manufactured in Canada, Meitner Audio allows you to simply connect the MA3 directly to your amplifiers and speakers of choice, and enjoy! The MA3 is the perfect integrated digital hub for any high-end system, regardless of budget.
