Meet the Manufacturer - Antipodes Audio at Gold Coast HiFi

Don’t miss the opportunity to meet the manufacturer—Antipodes Audio, a renowned hi-fi manufacturer from New Zealand, known for its exceptional quality and innovation in the modern era.

Antipodes Audio and GC HiFi are putting together a two-day event to showcase the Antipodes Audio range of high-end music servers/players.

The impressive Antipodes Audio line-up will be showcased in GC HiFi's three listening rooms on the Gold Coast.

Interstate? Gold Coast Airport is just about the cheapest airport in Australia to fly in and out of, and who doesn't love some of Queensland's sun? Make a holiday out of it.

Apart from the opportunity to meet Antipodes Audio's General Manager, Mark Cole, there will be demonstrations of the KALA K21, K22 and K50 and flagship Oladra music servers. Mark will attend both days to answer any questions and provide a brief and informative talk about the latest Antipodes Audio line-up.

The listening experiences will showcase the various servers and demonstrate switching between various interconnects on the higher-end servers, highlighting one of Antipodes Audio's great strengths and how different types of interconnects can improve the listening experience. Music will be streamed from Tidal and Qobuz through Roon and HQ Player and supplied from an SSD for comparison.

The event will occur at GC Hifi, Arundel Gold Coast, on Saturday, May 25th, from 3 PM to 8 PM and Sunday, May 26th, from 11 AM to 5 PM.

To reserve your free spot, call or email GC HiFi.

    applause awards

Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.

Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.

The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.

We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
