Made By Music: Cambridge Audio Podcast
Cambridge Audio's Made by Music podcast features exclusive interviews with global music icons, including Pink Floyd bassist Guy Pratt, cultural icon Boy George, and legendary DJ/producer Norman Cook, aka Fatboy Slim.
Cambridge Audio has launched a new podcast dubbed Made By Music. Hosted on Spotify, we are told to expect exclusive interviews with music icons from across the generations.
In each episode of the Made By Music podcast, host and all-round top man Sean Hannam gets up close and personal with guests to discuss key moments in their lives, particularly the records that shaped and influenced them.
We also will get deep cuts from the artist's back catalogue, an insight into their ultimate "Music Moment", their careers, identities, and the power of music.
Boy George stated:
When I hear a piece of music, it's always about what it makes me feel emotionally, whether it makes me want to cry or burn down a building – those are the two options!
The first three interviews have been launched on Spotify, with further episodes with multi-award-winning and chart-topping artists, producers and more will drop fortnightly after that.
Cambridge Audio CEO, Stuart George, told StereoNET:
It's no secret that music connects with listeners on an emotional level, and our new podcast celebrates that. Listening to these incredible artists and producers talk about life-changing music moments is spine-tingling.
As well as being the name of the new podcast series, Made By Music also becomes Cambridge Audio's new brand slogan, underlining their lifelong obsession for music and the musicians themselves.
Listeners can also enjoy the video of each episode, which is filmed predominantly at Cambridge Audio's own London-based live music venue, Melomania, and at key locations around the world.

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
