Krix Releases Versatile On-Wall Cinema Loudspeakers
Krix, a proudly Australian manufacturer and fast emerging on the global home cinema scene, has announced its latest OWX-50 and OWX-55 on-wall loudspeakers.
The OWX-50 and OWX-55 are the latest additions to its acclaimed range of dedicated home cinema on-wall speakers. Designed, engineered and manufactured in Australia, these speakers are built to deliver powerful soundscapes in media rooms, games rooms, and dedicated home cinemas.
Both models are engineered for high power handling and sensitivity, ensuring that movie soundtracks, games, and music are delivered with incredible power and dynamic range.
OWX-50: power in a compact footprint
The OWX-50 speaker delivers exceptional performance in a compact design. Its seamless integration into any home cinema makes it the perfect choice for high output from a small footprint. The constant directivity horn and compression driver are cleverly housed within a sleek and unobtrusive profile, while the square-shaped baffle allows for extensive placement options alongside screen subwoofers. Whether used as a screen, surround, or overhead speaker, the OWX-50 offers positional flexibility without sacrificing sound quality. The included bracket allows for flush wall mounting or adjustable angles up to 30 degrees, ensuring optimal sound dispersion in any setup.
OWX-55: versatility in a slim profile
The OWX-55 speaker shares the OWX-50’s power but in a taller, vertical orientation. Its constant directivity horn and compression driver are housed within a shallow, narrow profile, offering additional placement options where a slimmer cabinet or significant angling is required. The OWX-55’s versatility allows it to be used as a screen, surround, or overhead speaker, providing the same positional flexibility and high performance that Krix is renowned for. Again, the included bracket allows the speaker to be mounted flush against the wall, or at adjustable angles up to 68 degrees.
Both OWX models are available now and sell in Australia for $3,495 RRP per unit.
