INTERDYN SECURES MONITOR AUDIO AND ROKSAN

Interdyn has announced this week, on the back of snaring Artnovion from Cogworks and IsoTek from Audio Active recently, that Monitor Audio and Roksan will join the Interdyn portfolio after 26 years of being handled by Sydney-based M&G Hoskins.

Producing a class-leading and award-winning complete range of hi-fi speaker systems which cover a broad range of price points and applications, distribution in Australia will shift to Interdyn soon.

Sam Encel, co-Director of Interdyn told StereoNET:

We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Monitor Audio and Roksan to our premium and focused portfolio. They're brands we've long respected and seen tremendous potential in.

Jeremy Brown, Monitor Audio's Export Manager who was in Australia this week to meet with M&G Hoskins and Interdyn to manage the transition, added:

We’d like to thank M&G Hoskins for their support over the years in establishing both Monitor Audio and Roksan in Australia. We’re looking forward to a new relationship with Interdyn who have become known for their innovative sales and marketing programs, as well as their success in taking brands to new customers and levels of performance.

Following the announcement, Gordon Hoskins, Director of M&G Hoskins, indicated it's still business as usual and that with nearly three decades of experience in Hi-Fi distribution, they have no intention of winding down yet.

Interdyn has also hinted at further announcements and certainly shows no signs of slowing down either in what is clearly a colossal growth stage for the company, which was founded by Alex Encel more than 50 years ago.

Today, Interdyn is a 'next-gen' company headed up Alex's son Sam Encel and his university friend Evgeny Vizelman. The company has grown to be a leading distributor of premium home entertainment brands including Pro-Ject Audio, Devialet, SVS, Rotel, PMC, Ortofon, IsoTek, BenQ, and Artnovion.

Interdyn certainly has its work cut out for it maintaining a high level of promotion and marketing, technical and dealer support, and logistics across such a large distribution portfolio.

    applause awards

Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.

Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.

The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.

We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
