Hi-Fi Show: Perfect Synergy with McIntosh and Sonus Faber

Synergy Audio Visual, distributors of some of the finest hi-fi brands on the planet, will give attendees to this year's StereoNET Melbourne Hi-Fi Show a real treat for the eyes and ears.

The annual StereoNET show has become the go-to place for Australian firsts, and this year is no different. In Room 1310, Sonus faber's Olympica Nova range of loudspeakers will be connected to a McIntosh C70 Pre-amp and powered by an MC2152 150-watt stereo power amplifier which celebrates the 70th anniversary of McIntosh.

Two of the just-released REL S/150 subwoofers from the new Serie S range in stereo configuration will fill in the bottom end.

You'll also get the first look at Rega's new Planar 10 reference turntable.

The entire system will be connected with The Chord Company cables, and stand proudly atop Quadraspire's SVT Large equipment rack.

Synergy Audio Visual will also be running a Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab competition throughout the show. They are offering an amazing prize to coincide with the Australian Record Fair.

Simply sign-up to their mailing list during the event and go in the draw to add some serious contenders to your collection including a 5 pack of MoFi records + record cleaning brush, valued at $600!

  • Marvin Gaye - What’s Going On Limited Edition (UD1S)
  • Miles Davis - Miles Smiles 2LP Set
  • Supertramp - Breakfast in America LP
  • The Band - The Band 180g LP

The StereoNET Melbourne Hi-FI Show opens at noon on Friday 18th October and concludes at 5 PM on Sunday 20th October at the Pullman Hotel, Albert Park.
