HI-FI SHOW: KII AUDIO STATE OF THE ART LOUDSPEAKERS
Kii Audio erupted onto the hi-fi market with its cutting-edge technology back in 2015 with the release of the Kii THREE loudspeakers.
Don't let Kii THREE's compact size fool you. What may look like a cute pair of speakers, at first sight, is an audiophile listening pleasure that outperforms larger systems with ease.
Each Kii THREE contains six channels of DSP, D/A conversion and N-Core power amplification. Kii Audio's intelligent DSP is responsible for keeping the drive units within their safe operating range by gently adapting the filters instead of brutally limiting the signal. This allows the THREE to play significantly louder and cleaner than much bigger traditional designs.
On the input side, there is a choice of analogue and digital inputs. All digital inputs are up-sampled and re-clocked using Kii's own jitter rejection algorithm.
Featuring 4 x 6.5” woofers, 1 x 5” midrange, 1” waveguide tweeter, all individually driven by 6 x 250W full-custom Hypex N-Core amplifiers, the Kii THREE is a high-end Hi-Fi system you will use every day.
Shown for the very first time at an Australian Hi-Fi Show will be Kii Audio's highly anticipated BXT bass extension modules, specifically designed to complement the Kii THREE.
While the Kii THREE achieves so much for its size, many yearned for matching subwoofers for more bass reinforcement. Kii Audio has delivered with the BXT module replacing the THREE's speaker stands.
BXT transforms the compact speaker into a full size and formidable floor-standing system, adding an additional 16 woofers mated to 7000w of amplification.
The effect of the BXT expansion module is pronounced and must be heard to be believed. This significant upgrade to the THREE creates a full-range system that effortlessly energises even the largest of listening rooms with deep and incredibly fast and accurate bass.
Kii THREE with BXT makes for a 21st-century hi-fi system that every audiophile and music lover should experience.

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
