Convoy Moves to Support Retailers in Challenging Times
Convoy, the Australian distributor of leading brands including JBL, Bluesound, NAD, Revel, Mark Levinson, and many more, has moved to support its retailers during the challenging economic times that all industries are now facing due to the Coronavirus.
David Matthews, Convoy's Managing Director, has informed its specialist retailer network that it continues to operate and fulfil orders. While many distributors have moved to third party logistics in recent years, Convoy instead invested in state of the art warehousing facilities and logistics management at its Milperra, NSW head office. Convoy also manages the warehousing and logistics for Bowers & Wilkins Australia.
While other suppliers may be at the mercy of external companies to store, pick and ship orders, many of these companies are said to be reducing staff levels, leading to stock shortages and delivery delays.
Convoy has told its dealers that it can currently pick and despatch orders the same day, and is also supporting retailers by despatching customer orders directly to the consumer's address. This approach minimises person-to-person contact and further reduces delivery times with the customer not needing to head into a retail store.

At Convoy we have already seen a spike in demand for our brands and products since consumers have been asked to stay home, and we can continue to deliver these great products promptly to ou retailers or directly to the consumers' front doors.
