Bluesound Adds Pulse SUB+ to Range
Bluesound, the first high-res wireless multiroom audio system to come to market has announced the Pulse SUB+ subwoofer as an addition to its range.
The updated SUB+ reinforces the bass region of the sound from any wireless or wired Bluesound system and features the convenience of precision app control. Bluesound says its model also builds on everything the original Pulse SUB offered, “and takes it to the next level.”
The Pulse SUB+ was created from scratch to combine practicality and performance in one elegant product. It features an 8-inch long-throw woofer and 150W Smart Amplifier with DSP that the company says is capable of low frequencies to 22Hz. Furthermore, it says that “the design approach is true to the brand's musically-inclined HiFi heritage and results in a tight, quick, musical subwoofer, equally well suited for music or home theater.”
Measuring just 18” wide, by 11.8” high, and only 5.75” deep, the Pulse SUB+ will fit into any space and comes supplied with a wall mount bracket and magnetic rubber feet. The feet can be used to stand the SUB+ vertically for placement behind or beside a sofa or chair, or it can even be placed horizontally underneath a couch.
The highly intuitive BluOS Controller app makes setup quick and easy to pair the SUB+ with any Bluesound product. Controls include volume, crossover, and phase adjustment. For even more bass, you could add a second SUB+ via the BluOS Controller app and optimise the in-room settings with the advanced audio controls.
The Bluesound Pulse SUB+ comes in both black and white finishes, will be available mid-November 2020 and will sell in Australia for $1,299 RRP.
