BE PART OF THE INTERDYN TEAM & DEVIALET REVOLUTION

Interdyn was founded in Melbourne over 50 years ago by Alex Encel, one of the pioneers of the Australian HiFi industry and one of the first to sell stereo products in Australia.

That spirit of passion and innovation for home entertainment carries on today, with Interdyn importing and representing many brands within Australia, including Devialet, Rotel, Polk Audio, Pro-Ject, OPPO, and many more.

The baton has since been passed on to son, Sam Encel, who jointly manages the company with Evgeny Vizelmen.

Today, Interdyn is a progressive and innovative company with a young, next-gen culture and approach to business; a formula that is highly likely to see Interdyn into the next half-century.

Just one of their latest initiatives is in the spirit of 'giving back' this Christmas. All orders placed with Interdyn by their nationwide dealer network will see Interdyn donate 1% of the store's total spend in December, donated to their nominated Australian charity of choice. Hat's off to Interdyn.

Another example of Interdyn's dynamic approach to business is their latest ad for a 'Casual Sales Star' to join their team.

As our Sales Star you'll be responsible for helping our stores sell the hottest music product in the world. You'll rove between premium retailers in Melbourne, assisting them on the sales floor to talk to walk-in customers about Phantom.

We'll cover your meals and transport while you work - no car or public transport needed. Cool!

But there's no resume' or cover letters at Interdyn. Your application will be via video after watching the supplied unboxing Devialet Phantom clip.

Interdyn also gives you a choice. “Salary can be negotiated depending on whether you want a fixed payment or generous commission on each sale.” How confident are you?

You can find more information on becoming part of the Interdyn team (who are based in Richmond, Victoria) at the Seek website.

StereoNET’s Founder and Publisher was born in England and raised on British Hi-Fi before moving to Australia. He developed an early love of music and playing bass guitar before discovering the studio and the other side of the mixing desk. After a few years writing for audio magazines, Marc saw the future in digital publishing and founded the first version of StereoNET, known at the time as Planet Audio, in 1999.

    applause awards

Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.

Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.

The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.

We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
